FLIEHENDE STÜRME: Artwork for »Licht vergeht« LP. This german dark punk band is, besides EA80, propably the reason why people in this small and specific underground scene can still refer to »their« bands as if they were worshipping a cult. I prefer to not use the term »lifestyle«, but if I would, I could propably better explain this to you =). With my old band KONTAKT46 we had to chance to support FLIEHENDE STÜRME for some live shows – and doing an artwork for them felt like an honour. It still does! This record is from 2005, the band is playing LIVE TODAY IN POTSDAM.

I see my way of finding higher truth in a world out of balance by giving birth to carefully detailed graphic refuges. I belive that moving across the borders of genres and labels is necessary, no matter if sub-, high- or counter-culture or decollage, photography, drawing, graff, painting, singing. I named it DISTURBANITY, as i like a controversial standpoint as much as a cryptic neologism.
